So I haven’t been writing a blog in a while because of online school so there is a lot I need to update you on……. So 1 of the things we learned about/worked on was adding up on patterns and making them. Another thing we WATCHED was the inauguration and we also got a NEW CLASSMATE!!! She was soooo nice and fun but she did not decide to stay which made me sad. And 1 of the assistants came to our classroom and brought us this thing named FLOAM!! It is basically like little colored foam balls and they were kinda sticky but FUN!  We also read Johnny Tremain I am also pretty sure I talked about the book in my other blogs but I can refresh you. So basically there is this boy named Johnny and he is a jerk so god punishes him and he burns his hand on silver and he goes through a whole lot of trouble because of the limitations the burned hand gives him.  I could say more but I am not gonna spoil it. We also read some of Martin Luther King’s quotes. And I melted ice not only to find DIRT A bug AND LEAVES IN IT. But again was not expecting better. Our teacher ‘Mr.Chris’ gave us a typing lesson thing that is SUPER FUN BUT HARD TO DO. And we also started to do reflections again.

This week the class started a lot of new stuff. Like one new thing we started was reading a book called “Johnny Tremain”. It was set in 1773 in Boston . It was super interesting  but the book is pretty long so we are only at chapter 2 section 4. Another really fun thing we started was a ‘New York times top 100 most important people 2020’. So if you don’t get it or don’t know what it means so you basically  pick a person and on a post it note or paper you write why they are important what they do and who they are. We also did graphs. So we would pick a topic like for instance colors/books/etc. I picked the topic animals. So I would make two lines and than on one line write cute animals. And the other line I would write scary animals. And the other lines i would write easy to take care of . Than on the last line I would write hard to take care of. So a baby pig would go next to hard to take care of but cute. And a spider easy to take care of but scary. Now this is my opinion but other people like spiders and don’t like baby piggies but some people have different opinions. And than today everyone got to add stuff to other people’s graphs.

We also did a logic sheet. So we looked at a bunch of fallacies and got to watch ads and wrote down what type of fallacy the ad was. That’s pretty much it. I really enjoyed writing this blog can’t wait to write the next one .

Hi, I hope you are having an amazing week. So here’s what happened in mine: First on Monday we did what is going on in this picture? So I have also been talking about it in my other blogs. We also got a big CHUNK OF DRY ICE! So we put water on some of the dry ice and for the other CHUNK we put soap in it so when we picked up the bubbles it would turn in to CO2 and fell and look like a cloud. It was SUPER COOL and SUPER FUN! Another thing that I thought was fun to do was making flip grids and doing Rose Thorn Bud as usual.

Hello, I hope you have had an amazing week. So here’s what I did in mine. This week on Monday the class did “what’s going on in this picture? That is when our teacher (Mr. Chris) goes on New York Times and finds a picture and then we guess what is going on and then on Friday the answer of what is actually going on is at the bottom of the picture. Followed by doing a Misfits presentation. If you don’t know what the misfits is I have been mentioning it in my other blogs. And the last thing on Monday was doing a reflection at the end of the day. Now on Tuesday we did sort of an essay. So we would pick a topic and I picked lottery winning so you would write reasons about what you would do with the money and would you donate money or give money to people or for any other thing etc. And also for a little while we talked and did some stuff on election day. And a reflection. Then on Wednesday we also did some stuff about election day and read some of a book called trickster. And did dss and a reflection. Then on Thursday we picked classes to interview and again a REFLECTION. Now Friday we did a blog (what I am doing now) and did a settlement project and some scratch. That was it for this week’s blog can’t wait for next week to write the next one.

Hello, if you are reading this I hope you had a great day. Well here is what I have been doing for the past week—>. First the class started a Misfits scene. If you don’t know what that is I have been talking about it in my previous blog. This week the class also started giant settlement project. And we did rose thorn bud on Friday. Also on Friday everyone got to wear their HALLOWEEN costumes. We also did interviews on different classes.

This week the class started a lot of stuff. First the class started a fraction blizzard. A fraction blizzard is when you cut a snowflake and you try and find a fraction with all the scraps from the snowflake  cut out. The class also started a engineer for the week. That is when you make your own video game. It was pretty fun. The class also started “How to write an essay” So our teacher-Mr.Chris wrote  an outline and cut it and the class had to organized it. The class ALSO started a misfits scene. So the class has been reading a book called ‘The Misfits’ and it was about four kids and they don’t fit in at middle school. So the class read the last part and now we are doing a scene for the last quarter of it. The class also did ‘what do you see in this picture?’ So most of the class guessed it was bidding for a plant auction and guessed right! Mr.Chris ALSO! assigned a news quiz. The class also worked on khan academy. And reading. We also watched 2 videos about earth and life for science. The class also read stuff about fake news and did some question about it. The class also did Dss and one of the facts i got was ‘The moon has moonquakes’. Hoped you enjoyed reading this blog. I can’t wait to write the next one (:

Hello, if you read my previous blog you know I have been talking about what I have been doing in that week, so this is what I did this week. This week the class started  to do this math snow flake project. If that doesn’t  make sense it is like where you get to make your own snow flake and then see how much of the paper the scraps make. Then the class also started a Bobby speech. If you don’t know who Bobby is he is a character from our book called ‘The Misfits’. The class also did what do you see in this picture.

This week of school was amazing. This week the class started doing a misfits scene  from chapter 10/20. Also the class separated picture of animals doing their jobs in category’s . The class also started a newspaper contest. I really enjoyed writing this blog can’t wait to write one next week.

I am so excited for October to start ^..^ (*). My favorite thing the class did this week was DSS. And I really liked doing the 1492 math problem. Another thing the class did was a planet work sheet. So you would pick a planet, not including dwarf planets, and then you would write some facts and answer the questions on the paper. I got earth and  was very excited to do it.

1.did you know that earth is the only planet not named after a god.

2.Most of Earth’s surface is water!

Something that I found pretty hard was finding the number 87 for the 1492 problem. Something I also found hard was doing the English skill sheet, but it was still pretty fun. Something I kind of  want to work on the specific problem from the English skill sheet. I really liked writing this blog can’t wait to write another one for next week^..^

My 3rd week was great, my favorite part of the week was doing a DSS about carpenter bee’s. I also really liked doing a sculpting project for the misfits. We also read some chapters of misfits. We also worked on our pascals triangle.I cant wait for next week :)!!!!!!
